Eyes on Eleuthera

In the month of October we were able to spend some time fundraising in the US. We were able to visit some of our supporting churches and also hold the first “Eyes on Eleuthera” night of appreciation. This event was held at the Greer City Hall on October 20 and it was put on by the members of our link team. Our link team is a group of 12 people from our church, Grace Church. They are responsible for keeping us connected with our family, our church, and our supporters while we serve in the mission field on Eleuthera.

This event made it possible for us to show our appreciation for our current supporters and also meet new people who are interested in learning more about partnering with us, and our ministry, by becoming a financial supporter.

Because of this event, we were able to increase our monthly cost of living support.  For the past 2 years we have been operating, month to month, at a significant financial deficit. The “Eyes on Eleuthera ” event allowed us to increase our monthly contributions to 80% of our budget. These contributions will allow us to continue to live and minister on Eleuthera, providing much needed funds to meet our monthly expenses.

Thank you to all who attended the event and helped us to get closer to our monthly cost of living support goal!
