Kenya Teaching Trip - Day 1 | How You Can Pray?

Jeremy, Burnie, Bill, and I arrived in Nairobi safely last night and all slept well. We were able to spend some time together this morning over breakfast at Kentmere Lodge. After breakfast, we drove to
Koinonia Baptist Church and dropped Bill and Burnie off before heading on to Sipili.  Peter Wanjohi, who was supposed to translate for Jeremy and I all week, had a relative die in a tragic car accident late Saturday night. He met us today and will be with us until Wednesday, when we will meet up with another translator for our second conference in Karatina.

Please pray
for Peter and his family as they grieve the loss of a loved one and seek to be a testimony to those watching them during this difficult time. Pray especially for Peter's wife while he is with us for the next two days. The water at our hotel is not working, but the power has come back on, so we will be able to stay in touch. Jeremy will teach through Colossians 1 tomorrow and I will be teaching four sessions in the morning and afternoon. Please pray for wisdom and strength for us and for Peter as he translates. Finally, please pray for safe travel for all the pastors who are scheduled to attend the conference. We are eager to be with them and share in their excitement over what God is doing through their churches. I am humbled to think that God allows Grace Church to participate in the work of building the church in central Kenya.
