In early March, Grace Church member Cliff Carden joined a Water of Life (WOL) team in Sierra Leone to drill water wells in villages that had no access to clean, safe drinking water. Cliff answered the call from WOL for people to give up two weeks of their lives to travel to this small, west African nation and give the practical gift of fresh water in the name of Christ. WOL sends teams to drill wells in West Africa and India, places where the gospel is not normally welcome. But through providing a basic human need of fresh water, their teams have been able to speak about Jesus in settings that are virtually 100% Muslim.
